Did you know that…
The London Borough of Croydon was and still is central in personality development of creative people. The thing is that this area hosted the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology, established in 1992. Among its famous alumni, we can find an outstanding list of singers, presenters, and actors, including Adele, late Amy Winehouse, Tom Holland and many others.
Croydon’s postcode was initially introduced as CRO, using the letter ‘O’ but was later changed to include an alphanumerical character so it became CR0. This makes Croydon the only area with a district 0 instead of 1.
