Highlights of Loughton
Keep your eyes peeled when your wander around Loughton. Epping forest is a great place for a walk – shady, breezy, and free.
Don’t miss High Beach in the heart of Epping Forest, a lovely quaint church offering you a tea hut with a cup of tea and a piece of cake, as well as its own character and friendly atmosphere.
Other highlights of Loughton IG10 include the Queen Elizabeth Hunting Lodge, Conault Waters, and Copped Hall. The last one is the Georgian Manor House, restored by a dedicated group of volunteers after a great fire 100 years ago. This utterly fascinating piece of history attracts visitors with the unique inside view of the construction of the building and very knowledgeable staff and at numerous open days.
