South Oxhey is a Watford district within the Watford Rural parish of Hertfordshire’s Three Rivers borough. It is situated near the border with Greater London and in the southwest part of Northwood Hertfordshire. The most notable people associated with South Oxhey are actor and director Nick Moran and two-time Winter Olympian Paul Field.
Carpenders Park railway station, on the Watford DC line, is the London Overground station that serves the area. Trains run every 20 minutes (during the day) and every 30 minutes (at night) from Watford Junction to London Euston, in either direction. There are also many bus routes that pass through the area.
Education systems in the area include Greenfields, Oxhey Wood, Woodhall Primary, Warren Dell Primary, and Colnbrook. Oxhey Woods is a 98-hectare local nature reserve on the western edge of South Oxhey. It is owned and managed by Three Rivers District Council.
