Great Bookham is a town located in the county of Surrey, 1 of 6 semi-countryside spring line settlements between the neighborhoods of Guildford and Leatherhead. It is bounded by common land and forms portion of the Saxon village of Bocham, along with Little Bookham.
The town of Effingham lies on the western corner of the Bookhams, while further westward on the highway to Guildford are the towns of East and West Clandon and East and West Horsley. Dorking and Westhumble are located to the southeast and Leatherhead and Fetcham to the northeast.
