Highams Park is a residential area in the Waltham Forest district. It is located 14 km (8.7 miles) northeast of Charing Cross and close to Epping Forest. Highams Park was traditionally part of the municipal ward and parish of Walthamstow. It is mainly a suburban district, with housing that comprises of mostly 1930s and Victorian attached homes.
Rolls Park and Jubilee Sports Ground (officially Truman’s Sports Ground) are the two major sports grounds in Highams Park. Other places of interest are Highams Park Lake and Highams Park Field. There are several primary and secondary schools as well as a library in the area.

Highams Park features the eponymous park that is locally known as the Field, the Lake, or the Park. The lake is the creation of the famous 18th-century landscaper Humphry Repton. The lake was formed by damming the River Ching.
