North Wembley is a Northwest London borough situated in the district of Brent. Sudbury Court Drive, East Land and Watford Road are the main streets in the area. Most parts of North Wembley are in the HA0 postcode zone, although some parts in the west like Sudbury Court Drive are included in Harrow HA1, and Wembley HA9 covers a small portion of the east side like East Lane Business Park.
Wembley High Technology College was established in 1934. It’s Brent’s top school and one of the best schools in the UK. It was called East Lane County Secondary until 1979. The local rail station was also called East Lane when it opened in 1912.
The only vehicular route to Northwick Park is through North Wembley. Vale Farm is a leisure center that features a gym, spa, tennis court, swimming pool, football field, badminton hall, and basketball court. Classes include aqua aerobics, martial arts, group cycling, and many other sports activities.
Sudbury Court Estate covers most of North Wembley HA0. The estate was built in the 1930s under Captain Edward George Spencer-Churchill, the first cousin of Winston Churchill. It’s a great example of Tudor Revival architecture.
The train station that serves the area is North Wembley station, which is on the Watford DC and Bakerloo lines; however, Sudbury & Harrow Road station, South Kenton station or Sudbury Hill Harrow station could be closer to some residents, depending on their location.
North Wembley is served by 483, 182 and 245 routes of the London Buses network as well as the N18 night route, providing access to Wembley Park, Harrow, Sudbury and Wembley town centre. H17 and 92 routes also pass through the most western border at Sudbury Court Drive, while the 223 route passes by the train tracks at South Kenton station.
