Did you know that...
Oakleigh Park is an area in the northern part of the London Borough of Barnet. This loosely defined district borders Whetstone and is frequently considered either as part of East Barnet or Whetstone, but Oakleigh Park has its own character and even a railway station. Neighboring areas include New Barnet to the north, Friern Barnet to the south and Osidge to the east.
Oakleigh Road North is the main road in the area. Turning off this thoroughfare include Oakleigh Avenue, Oakleigh Park South and Oakleigh Park South. A small shopping display can be found on Netherlands Road, situated on the railway station’s northern side.
Route 383 of the TfL bus system stops right in front of Oakleigh Park railway station, while a Hail and Ride service operates along Athenaeum Road/Oakleigh Park North and Netherlands Road. The closest tube station in the area is Totteridge & Whetstone London Underground station on the Northern line.
