South Woodford is a residential area in London situated 14.3 km (8.9 miles) northeast of Charing Cross. Woodford district is formed by Woodford Wells, Woodford Green, South Woodford and Woodford Bridge and was a constituent of Essex county up until 1965.
The London Underground South Woodford station on the Central line, in Travelcard Zone 4, serves the area. There are also several London buses that serves South Woodford such as routes N55, W12, 20 and 549. A1400 and A12 are easily accessible from South Woodford.
