Tadworth is a huge suburban town in Surrey in the southeastern side of the Epsom Downs (which is part of the North Downs). It has a population of 9,522 based on the 2001 Census and forms part of the Borough of Reigate and Banstead.
Neighboring towns of Tadworth include Burgh Heath, Epsom, Kingswood and Walton-on-the-Hill. One notable landmark in the area is The Children’s Trust, a national charity that provides rehabilitation to kids with developed brain injuries and special care to severely disabled kids. Tadworth Court, a Grade I listed building, The Water Tower and The Church of the Good Shepherd are also known local sites.
There are two train stations in the area, namely Tadworth railway station (which is near the town center) and Tattenham Corner railway station (adjacent to Epsom Downs and is closer to some residents). Both stations are in Oyster card zone 6.
