Waddon is a town within the London Borough of Croydon, situated to the west, southwest and northwest of central Croydon and is adjacent to the London Borough of Sutton. The nearest districts to Waddon are Purley, Carshalton, Beddington, Wallington and Croydon.
The area is close to Waddon railway station, South Croydon railway station (both in Travelcard Zone 5), Wandle Park tram stop and Waddon Marsh tram stop. West Croydon station, a combination of railway, tram stop and bus station, is also near the area.
Purley Way (A23), which runs through the town from Purley all the way to Thornton Heath’s western corners, has many light industrial companies and superstores. Waddon is home to South London Pirates, one of British Baseball Federation’s most successful baseball clubs, and plays at Roundshaw.
