Did you know that...
World’s End is an area of Chelsea situated at west corner of the Kings Road. It used to be a slum area during the Victorian era and was replaced by council housing, which include the World’s End estate, in the 20th century. Designed by Eric Lyons and Jim Cadbury-Brown, the estate is popular for its brutalist architectural style.
Another site of interest in the area is the Cremorne Estate, which got its name from the ancient Cremorne Gardens where it previously stood. The London Overground Imperial Wharf railway station and London Underground Fulham Broadway tube station are the nearest stations in World’s End.
New River has many pubs (like Crown & Horseshoes) along its banks that you can visit and a great place to go jogging or walk your dog. Other popular spots that locals visit include Enfield Town Market, La Caverna and Winchmore Hill Green.
