Did you know that...
Willesden is a town in northwest London situated 8 km (5 miles) northwest of Charing Cross. A part of the Brent borough, the town was traditionally a village in Middlesex county before getting incorporated in 1933 as the Municipal Borough of Willesden.
Willesden is near wealthy districts such as Kensal Rise, Brondesbury Park and Queen’s Park, making the property prices of the neighborhood bordering Willesden Green station increasingly high. The town has one of the highest populations of Irish in all of London.
The town is served by numerous railway and London Underground tube stations, including Dollis Hill station and Willesden Junction station. A219, A404, A407, A5 and A4088 are just some of the major roads that go around or through Willesden.
